The world has changed in recent times, and so has the world of business and conveyancing. At GloverPriest, we continue to offer the same outstanding conveyancing solicitor’s services and customer service, but like everyone else, we have had to be flexible and proactive in how we work. But one thing remains constant: we always put our customers first. We always have done, and we always will do.
The days of walking to your local solicitor’s office are now a thing of the past for many people - but that’s not necessarily a negative. We now have far more ways and opportunities to communicate with our valued customers than ever before, which means that our level of service is better than ever, too.
Telephone….Email….Skype….Zoom….Teams….Facetime….and good old Face-to-face (Covid-19 regulations permitting) are just some of the ways that we communicate with our valued customers and it means that the service we offer is hugely efficient, effective, and personable.

Leicestershire is absolutely packed with things to see and do - Mile upon mile of stunning, unspoilt countryside; fascinating galleries and museums that are to be found in the city of Leicester and the many towns that are dotted around the county; castles and historic houses; any number of venues and galleries; and award-winning attractions for all the family.
The county borders Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, and Derbyshire and has a population of just over 1 million. Its main industries are engineering, farming, clothing, and food and drink, but it’s a county full of idyllic countryside, with a big city at its heart, and a range of picturesque towns and villages making Leicestershire a perfect place to live or work in or visiting for a short or longer break. It’s a county to explore, especially the great outdoors.
Leicester as a city is a great destination in its own right. Community-focussed and creative, it’s a fantastic place to shop, take in plenty of art and culture, is home to some class sport in the form of successful professional football, cricket, and rugby teams, and is also known for the discovery of the last Plantagenet King’s remains (Richard III). The city has a rich cultural diversity and a long history including the Jewry Wall and the Jewry Wall Museum and The Guildhall and is also an accessible city, close to the M1 and M69 motorways, and with East Midlands airport only half an hour away by car to the city. And because of its central location it’s only an hour away by train from London.
As well as having a great city as a focal point, Leicestershire has an abundance of lovely towns and villages to visit and wander around. These include the university town of Loughborough in the north, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Melton Mowbray (famous for its association with pork pies and stilton cheese), and Market Harborough I the south of the county. There are some great places for tourists to visit that include the likes of Twycross Zoo, Bradgate House, Breedon Hill, perhaps some of the many medieval manor houses such as Kirby Muxloe Castle, Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre & Country Park, Conkers, and The National Space Centre.
From historic sites to fantastic unspoilt countryside and from a buzzy city to a range of vibrant market towns, Leicestershire is perfect for either a relaxing break, a history-crammed holiday, or fast-paced city life. It’s somewhere to avoid the crowds or perhaps be a part of the buzz? With a great location, this is a county with plenty to discover, explore and experience.
