GloverPriest is a synergy of multiple, previously independent law practices that span a wide area, both geographically and legally. We believe in being the expert local solicitors on the High Street that supports the legal needs of local communities. Our history and reputation hasn’t happened by chance: it’s because we have always been the solicitors on the high street that supports the legal needs of local communities, and we do so by having a team of outstanding legal professionals that have a wealth of experience in their fields.

GloverPriest have a long-standing history of providing expert legal protection for our clients. Indeed, Argyles (our Tamworth office), where we are the successor practice, can be traced back to 1749 and is one of the oldest recorded law practices in the UK.

With a personal, bespoke touch to everything we do, including offering both face-to-face appointments and remote communication to our clients, we fully understand that communication and transparency are essential in everything that we do.

David has a wealth of experience as a solicitor and deals with the full range of private family matters including separation and divorce, property and financial matters, children matters relating to residence and contact, pre and post nuptial agreements, separation agreements and co-habitation disputes on behalf of unmarried couples. David acts for a wide range of clients on matters of varying complexity. No case is too big or small. Two recent examples of his financial remedy practice include advising a client on an appeal involving a complex separation agreement and the variation of a spousal maintenance order to final hearing, both cases involving substantial assets.

Louise is a Chartered Legal Executive and brings over 20 years experience having previously headed up the family department in her previous roles. Louise has a wealth of experience and is well versed in negotiating complex financial settlements as well as day to day financial disputes and deals with all divorce transactions both large and small. Her other areas of expertise are matters relating to children, particularly contact and residence disputes, cohabitee disputes and pre and post nuptial agreements.
Louise is recognised for her personable down to earth approach and her ability to immediately set client’s at ease so that they have a clear understanding of the issues they have before them.
Louise offers a professional and constructive approach to her client’s needs and can provide reassurance and clarity during times which are often uncertain.
As a member of Resolution (previously the Solicitors Family Law Association) Louise is a part of a national association of family lawyers who adhere to a code of conduct to deal with matters is a conciliatory and constructive manner. However, Louise is able to take a robust stance in cases that require this level of representation.
In 2018 Louise became a collaborative lawyer. Collaborative law is an alternative dispute resolution and trained lawyers have the skills and expertise to help clients resolve disputes without going to court.
Outside of work Louise assists in fundraising for various charities close to heart and enjoys spending time with her two daughters.

Senior Residential Conveyancer

Katherine joined GloverPriest in 2020 as a Residential Conveyancer, she has many years of experience in residential property conveyancing and has worked in the legal profession since 1983. Katherine moved from her home in Surrey to the West Midlands in 2006 where she has worked in West Bromwich and Wolverhampton law firms.
Katherine is able to deal with all aspects of registered and unregistered property matters. Katherine specialises in residential sales and purchases, re-mortgages, auctions and new build plot purchases.
Outside of work Katherine enjoys singing in her local church choir and has a strong interest in music. Katherine sings and performs in fund raising concerts and enjoys cooking.
