After a divorce, it's essential to update various documents to reflect your new personal status and ensure all records are accurate. Here's a list of documents you may need to change.
1. Passport
Change your name on your passport. Typically you might need to provide documents including your birth certificate, a signed statement of name change 'for all purposes,' a document showing you’re using your new name to change the name on your passport.
2. Driving licence
Update your name and new address (if necessary) with the DVLA to ensure your driving licence reflects your current information.
3. Bank accounts
