The fee scale and link for the purchase of a main residence is https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/calculate-stamp-duty-land-tax/#/intro If you are a first-time buyer and meet eligibility criteria you may be exempt from SDLT if you purchase for £300,000 or less. If the purchase price is between £300,001 and £500,000 you may be eligible to pay a reduced amount.
